This is a picture I painted for my granddaughter Bella. It shows her and her sister Lucy having adventures on the banks of a tropical river in an exotic jungle.

They meet and talk with many wonderful animals including zebras, gorillas, parotts, giraffes, a lion and a tiger cub, seals, a crodile, a gibbon, a black bear and a black bear cub and a polar bear cub, an anteater and a baby anteater, a chimpanzee, a flock of flamingos, a heron and some ducks, a stork, rabbits and a leopard.

They also meet Aztec musicians and elephants and hippopotamuses (hippopotami) and there is the moon and chinese lanterns and an anaconda snake and a boa constrictor.

  • Bella talks to a seal whilst another balances Lucy on its nose, flamingos are taking off in the distance, Bell dreams
  • Chimpanzee (old boy) in tree house looks on polar bear cub and brown bear cubs playing illuminated by chinese lanterns, with parotts and pink flamingos and a boa constrictor snake
  • a macaw parrot talks to two snakes, and anaconda and boa constrictor, while pink flamingos land and squirrels chatter
